Find Deliverance by Stormie Omartian

Deliverance removes all past brokenness and bondages from a person’s life so that the real me can come forth.

Deliverance doesn’t change me into different person. It releases me to be who I really am.

Bondages comes from disobedience. Behind every sin, there is an evil spirit. When I sin, I give that spirit a foothold of my life.

Deliverance then is evicting the devil and refuse to be crippled by him. God doesn’t force it on me; I have to desire it. I have to want to put away all the pain of the past, bad habits, negative emotions, the sin and the self indulgement. I want to be free.

God is committed to removing burdens from my lives, but the first step is up to me.

Steps to Deliverance

Confessing:speaking the whole truth about your sin
Renouncing:taking firm stand against it and removing its right to stay
Forgiving: unforgiveness hinders deliverance
Speaking: proclamation in my minds what God has done
Praying: more effective when mind fill with Word of God
Praising: worship invites God’s presence
Walking: refuse to be drawn back into the same error, severing bad habits and establishing new ones, so set mind not to be tempted back into old ways of thinking and doing.

My Prayer:
Lord I pray that You will deliver me from anything taht binds me. Enable me to recognise my sins and strengthen me to stand strong against it. Thank you for Your love and grace that I know there is freedom in You. Set me free from anything that keep me from becoming all You made me to be.

In You Most Precious Name I prayed
Amen

Lord, Bless The Work Of My Hands

Been reading the book ‘The Power of a Praying Wife’ by Stormie Omartian ( Harvest House Publishers ISBN 1565075722) and here’s a prayer based on what I’d been reading:

.

I pray that the LORD would bless the work of my hands.

May my labor bring not only favor, success and prosperity but great fulfillment as well.

If the work that I am doing is not in line with Your perfect will for my life, reveal it to me. Show me what I should do differently and guide me down the right path.

Give me strength, faith and a vision for the future so I can rise above any propensity for laziness.

May I never turn from work out of fear, selfishness and a desire to avoid responsibility. On the other hand, help me to see that I don’t have to work myself to death for man’s approval or grasp for gain beyond what is a gift from You.

Give me the ability to enjoy success without striving for more. Help me to excel but free me from the pressure to do so.

I pray that You will be the LORD over my work as I bring to You every aspect of it.

Give me enough confidence in the gifts You’ve placed in me to be able to seek, find and do good work.

Open up doors of opportunity for me that no man can close. Develop my skills so that they grow more valuable with each passing year. Show me what I can do to encourage myself.

I pray that my work will be established, secure, successful, satisfying and financially rewarding.

May I not be lagging in diligence but fervent in spirit serving the LORD.

Let me be like a tree planted by the stream of Your living water which bring forth fruits in due season.

May I never wither under pressure but grow strong and prosper.

In Jesus Most precious name I pray,

Amen

It can be easy to let yourself fall into the trap of worrying about money. We must learn to trust that God will take care of us, and provide for us, just as He takes care of the birds of the air.

Righteousness is not something we can attain through our own efforts. It is a free gift from God. Through Jesus, we can exchange our sin for His righteousness.
